The original BOROTTO LUMIA 8 axial fan is a key component of the ThermoGuard Elite® ventilation system, developed to manage airflow and contribute to a stable and uniform internal microclimate.

It is not simply a fan installed inside the incubator. Its position, dimensions and operation are an integral part of the engineering behind the LUMIA 8.

During operation, the fan draws air from the central area and directs it along the internal walls. This principle allows the ThermoGuard Elite® system to create dynamic thermal insulation, helping to reduce heat loss and maintain a more controlled incubation environment.

The system works in synergy with the PID BioMimic System®, combining electronic control, thermal management and ventilation within a single architecture. This reflects the BOROTTO approach of putting technology at the service of nature, designing each component to work together throughout the delicate process of embryonic development.

The fan is designed to provide quiet operation, reliability and continuous performance, while maintaining the characteristics specified for the original LUMIA 8 ventilation system.
