Mobile Chicken Coop for Laying Hens – Freedom of Movement and Animal Welfare
Designed to ensure maximum welfare for your hens, our Mobile Chicken Coop for Laying Hens represents innovation in poultry farming. Created for small breeders, farms and poultry startups, this mobile model offers a complete solution that combines mobility, efficiency and safety.
Key Features
Optimal Capacity
With an internal space of 1.8 × 1.5 metres, the coop comfortably accommodates up to 30 laying hens, providing ample room for movement and daily activities. The robust, durable structure is built to last, using high-quality materials that protect hens from harsh weather conditions while ensuring long-term safety.
Mobility and Flexibility
Equipped with solid rubber wheels, the coop can be easily moved by a single person. Regular relocation allows hens access to fresh grazing areas, preventing soil overuse and promoting a healthier, more varied diet. Seasonal repositioning also enables a cooler environment in summer and better shelter during winter.
Safety and Protection
The coop can be fitted with the Chicken Guard PRO system, an advanced automatic door opening and closing device that turns the coop into a true anti-predator solution. This system protects hens at night, significantly reducing the risk of attacks from wild animals and providing complete peace of mind for breeders.
Premium-Quality Materials
The walls are made of 18 mm reinforced laminated marine phenolic plywood, offering excellent resistance to weather conditions and long-term durability. This material is ideal for outdoor use, being waterproof and highly resistant to moisture and wear, ensuring reliable protection for hens in all seasons.
Compliant with Modern Animal Welfare Regulations
This coop has been designed in accordance with the latest animal welfare regulations, complying with current laws that promote the health and wellbeing of farm animals. It provides a safe, healthy environment that fully meets legal requirements.
Animal Welfare-Focused Design
The coop layout is designed for hen comfort, featuring 4 internal perches with a total length of over 7 metres, offering generous space for nighttime roosting. An external suspended perch helps strengthen hens’ legs, improving overall health and reducing stress.
Egg management is simplified thanks to external roll-away nesting boxes, allowing quick and clean egg collection without disturbing the hens.
Easy to Clean
The internal flooring, made of reinforced PVC with galvanised steel, allows for easy removal of droppings, keeping the environment clean while minimising maintenance time. The opening roof provides easy access for cleaning and inspection.
Watering and Feeding System
The coop is equipped with a 55-litre water tank and 4 constant-level drinkers, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh water for the hens. This reduces manual intervention and makes daily management even easier.
Environmental and Functional Benefits
Modular and Free-Standing
Thanks to its demountable, free-standing design, no municipal authorisation is required for installation. This allows you to start your poultry activity with maximum flexibility and without bureaucratic complications.
Reduced Environmental Impact
The mobile design enables droppings to be distributed across different areas of the land, improving soil fertility and preventing pasture degradation.
Ethical Farming
Regularly moving the coop promotes a healthier lifestyle for hens, allowing them to forage freely on fresh ground, reducing stress and improving overall wellbeing.
